I am a glass artist based in Hertfordshire, undertaking architectural glass commissions for both public and private sites and developing work for exhibition. 

Glass is a versatile, tactile and seductive medium. I am fascinated by the way light interacts with glass, and the way light brings glass alive with glowing colour captivates me.  Building up intriguing textural and sculptural surfaces that respond to and manipulate light, my work enhances architectural spaces and creates relevant and beneficial environments.  As an artist and professionally trained musician the rhythm, harmony and colour that are common to music and the natural world are expressed both in the structures and shapes I use, as well as in the colour and textures of the glass.  My work develops through drawing and painting, exploration of colour and surface, through intuition and consideration and receptivity to the richness – historical, aesthetic and emotional – of glass.
